The Capilla del Arte, cultural space of the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP), adds to its cultural calendar the new exhibition Diaspora, which brings together the talent of 45 university students and 5 professors from the Bachelor’s Degrees in Interior Architecture, Fine Art, Design and Architecture, who show their work in painting, sculpture, art installation, posters and furniture design.
This new exhibition is integrated into the Fall 2023 cultural events, led by Hello again and an extensive programming. During the opening reception of Diaspora, and in the presence of the artists and academic authorities, Marie France Desdier Fuentes, director of Cultural Spaces and the Art collection of the UDLAP, celebrated the reopening of this space and welcomed all attendees: “we want to share with Puebla society that in this cultural season, in addition to the exhibitions, there will be concerts on Musical Wednesdays, Creative Sundays inspired by our two exhibitions with workshops, as well as various activities that invite different types of audiences to experience UDLAP art and culture,” she expressed.
